2255 Series French Doors meet or exceed the following testing protocols:
AAMA: AW-80 performance level (for single leaf door)
CSA: A3 B7 C5 performance levels (for single leaf door)
THERMAL: using 1" insulating glass units with clear non-coated annealled glass, this product tests to:
AAMA: CRF: 58 (frame); 70 (glass)
U-Value: 0.55
CSA: Condensation Index: 64 (frame); 61 (glass)
Enhanced thermal values can be achieved, on a project-specific basis, by using high-performance glazing (Low E, etc), argon gas filling and thermal spacers.
Terrace Door (Out-Swinging)
Meets AAMA AW-50 for 8' x 8' Outswinging Pair
Air Infiltration: not exceeding 0.10 cfm at 6.24 psf (ASTM E 283)
Water Rating: no leakage at 15 psf (ASTM E 331)
Cycle Test: 25,000 repetitions
