 Architect: HOK The challenges are both exciting and rewarding when creating Cincinnati’s first and largest “Green” office tower. A significant reduction in energy usage is obtained through the high-efficiency facade and curtain wall system by Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope™. The inside space features high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows to allow maximum daylighting, and the use of specially coated insulated glass to avoid unwanted heat transfer.
Great American Tower at Queen City Square is an ambitious project combining unitized curtain wall with elaborate panel work. Our team of building envelope engineers worked closely with architects to ensure performance and aesthetic needs were met for this custom-engineered building envelope by Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope™. The windows on Queen City feature high performance, low-e, insulated glass with a custom tint for high efficiency and daylighting.
